Shannon Somogyi will discuss trauma and it's definition. She'll have participants find out their ACE score to demonstrate just how much trauma each of us has experienced. Discuss how everyone experiences trauma differently and each type of trauma. Discover how trauma is held in the body and how yoga and breathing practices (pranayama) can help begin to heal. Dive deep into creating a better world by understanding that we all carry our own trauma. Learn how to recognize it in others so that we may become more compassionate. Developing a deeper connection with not only ourselves, our brothers and sisters, but the world around us too.
