Welcome to the Family Camp at Anarchapulco 2025!
Hi, my name is Laura, and I am thrilled to introduce you to the Family Camp at the Anarchapulco conference. Family Camp is a safe, family-friendly space designed for play, learning, connecting, and expanding during the Anarchapulco conference. I have had the honour and joy of managing this space for three years, and I am excited to share that our fourth year is coming in 2025. Over the years, we have developed a welcoming and inclusive structure that is open to everyone throughout the entire conference.
Family Camp is free for all attendees, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate and enjoy the enriching experiences we offer. However, it is important to note that Family Camp is not a place for parents to drop off their children if they are unable to care for themselves. Children should feel comfortable without their parents and be able to engage independently in the activities provided. Therefore, the youngest attendees are welcome with their parents or older siblings.
Our Daily Schedule
Morning Activities: Starting from 10 o'clock, we kick off the day with arts and crafts and free play, tailored for our younger participants but open to all ages. If arts and crafts aren't your thing, our board game space is available all day long.
Afternoon Fun: After lunch, we have a variety of activities, including hula-hooping with our fantastic Jona, beginner Spanish classes with a native speaker, and juggling classes. For those who prefer to relax, the swimming pool is open for a chill session.
Sovereign Life Skills and More: Later in the afternoon, Chad leads workshops on waste management, making glass bricks, and building with them. He also hosts "Candles in the Dark"- a discussion circles for older kids..
Special Events: We usually hold a party on Friday, providing a fun and festive end to the week.
For the Parents
For the parents, we hold discussion circles on Tuesday to Friday mornings on topics such as:
- How do we work together? with Bearheart
- Self-sufficiency and food growing with Marjory Wildcraft
- Education with various experts
Jeff Berwick himself joins us one day in the Circle to answer all the questions one might have on the family life and personal growth.
Community and Connection
Last year's camp was particularly special, creating a sense of community among participants. Parents didn't just rush off to hear all the speakers, but enriched the camp by sharing their knowledge and skills. "The Winsome Kind" delighted us with great songs, and Jay Noon hosted a Man Camp with blacksmithing sessions in the mornings. The warm, supportive vibe was maintained by everyone present, creating a truly memorable experience.
So, welcome to Anarchapulco 2025! This year promises to be even greater because you will be there. Stay tuned as we update you with all the latest news and details. And reach out if you have any ideas and suggestions.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
Warm regards,
Laura Family camp manager
