In its full form, Game of Village began as an imaginative experiment in community building for children, inspired by the belief that kids can lead and organize their own worlds when given the space to do so. They design homes, take on roles, barter + trade, and bring their ideas to life. Along the way, they develop creativity, collaboration and leadership, discovering how working together can turn shared visions into reality.

The Village Light version captures the same spirit in a flexible, drop in format, designed to fit within the time of Family Camp. Children become architects of their own world, shaping their village, homes, communal spaces and characters. Each day adds new creations and by the end of the experience, all of their ideas come together into a self built community.

A daily theme offers gentle guidance, but participation is entirely voluntary. Children and families can contribute whenever inspiration strikes, as much or as little as they wish. The village grows naturally, shaped by imagination and the choices of each participant.
