Vit Jedlička
Born: September 6th, 1983
Birthplace: Hradec Králové, Czechoslovakia

In the early years of Vit’s life, his family was one of the many victims of the wrongdoings and disgust that went on in the 80’s and 90’s in Czechoslovakia, during the Socialist Soviet Rule of Europe. This motivated him to make haste into the field of Libertarian politics by achieving a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Affairs, and a Master’s degree in Political Science. 

He has worked his way up the branches of politics holding a steady and solid Right-Wing Libertarian position and perspective. His accolades span from being the former Chairman for the Free Citizens Party (Svobodní) from 2019-2024, reaching the heights of being one of the Founders and current serving President of Free Republic of Liberland.

Viewing the world through Vit’s lenses, he has described himself as a Frédéric Bastiat-influenced Anarcho-Capitalist. He has been a speaker at:

at Horasis Global Meeting in Zurich, Switzerland 
and at the St. Gallen Symposium in St. Gallen, Switzerland, respectively.

“LIBERLAND!?”… What is it? Where is it? Can I live there?

Liberland, is a sovereign micro-nation, a patch of floodplain “free” land - or as others refer to as Gornja Siga - that is roughly the same size as Gibraltar, that has remained unclaimed by Croatia and/or Serbia for over 25 years for the simple reason that they both continue to contest each other’s border claims. With the two countries in constant disagreement, with the Danube River being the deciding factor and both countries neglecting the land, it hence brought forth the opportunity for it to be “CONQUERED”… pardon me… “CLAIMED" by none other than Right-Wing Libertarian Anarcho-Capitalist, Vit Jedlička and company.

Vit Jedlička, the Founder and current President of Liberland managed to make a claim for the land in 2015, even through the constant challenging instances of the Croatian government and border patrols, contesting his claims, threatening and pursuing him crossing the Croatian border leading into Liberland and arresting him time-after-time.

Over the years and to this day, Vit Jedlička continues to forge to establish and build-up the foundations of the land to one day become the gold standard example for sovereignty, for it to be a haven for freedom, to promote the use of cryptocurrency as the monetary system and for it to be a tax-free nation.
