Tom Shaw: Poetic Self Sovereignty

Description of talk: Through explorations of poetry and storytelling techniques, Tom began to challenge his own belief systems and patterns of self-sabotage. In doing so, Tom has developed a unique expertise in self-sovereignty mindsets, giving voice to truth and transmuting the unfavourable circumstances of our times through artistic and linguistic means. He now uses this to help others become the heroes of their life stories and challenge manipulative narratives that exists on a personal and societal level. Tom provides his perspective, insight and skills to a number of projects, including Over To The Youth, Separated Child Foundation and many others. He currently serves as Volunteer and Registration Co-ordinator for Anarchapulco and Liberpulco, and engages in poetic exploration through in-person events and workshops, as well as online platforms for an international audience.
