Poetic Self Soveriegnty
Tom's personal journey saw him leave Dental School after experiencing first-hand the inverted and corrupted nature of Western healthcare systems. The grief of knowingly giving toxic "treatments" to both adults and children, combined with a profound sense of isolation from like-minded peers able to understand or support him in his struggles took a marked toll on his sense of self and ability to make a meaningful impact in the world. Through explorations of poetry and storytelling techniques, Tom began to challenge his own belief systems and patterns of self-sabotage. In doing so, Tom has developed a unique expertise in self-sovereignty mindsets, giving voice to truth and transmuting the unfavourable circumstances of our times through artistic and linguistic means. He now uses this to help others become the heroes of their life stories and challenge manipulative narratives that exists on a personal and societal level. Tom provides his perspective, insight and skills to a number of projects, including Over To The Youth, Separated Child Foundation and many others. He currently serves as Volunteer and Registration Co-ordinator for Anarchapulco and Liberpulco, and engages in poetic exploration through in-person events and workshops, as well as online platforms for an international audience.
