The Hotel Anarchapulco 2017 will be taking place at Resort Mundo Imperial, the 5-star resort in the Diamante district of Acapulco. The hotel features 5 swimming pools including a wave pool, 7 restaurants, a lobby bar open until at least 2am, and is adjacent to the best conference facility in Acapulco, where we will have the premier space to host our speakers, attendees, sponsors and families. If you are ready to book your room now, just click here to book online with our conference discount code. (All prices are in MXN pesos!) However, there are a few things you should know... First, there is an event at the resort immediately before Anarchapulco. This event has booked the ENTIRE hotel, and therefore you cannot get a room prior to Feb 23, the day before any of our events begin. However, our colleagues at Mundo Imperial have recognized this complication, and have generously extended a group discount to their sister hotels, the Pierre Mundo Imperial and the Princess Mundo Imperial. Both of these hotels are a free, 7-minute shuttle ride away, and provide stunning Pacific beaches. The Princess is, in our opinion, the nicest hotel beach in Acapulco. If you are planning to come early, you can enjoy the Pierre at our group rate here, or the Princess at our group rate here. If you've enjoyed the beach access in prior Anarchapulco conferences, we really can't recommend these locations enough. The sand is like talcum powder and the clean, cool Pacific is simply magnificent for swimming and surfing. Second, Resort Mundo Imperial is not on the beach. It's halfway between the Pacific coast line and Laguna de Tres Palos. This means that if you want to visit the beach during your stay, you'll need to take a 7-minute shuttle to the Princess Mundo Imperial. We strongly recommend doing this, as you'll get to enjoy the best beach in Acapulco as a guest of the Mundo Imperial chain. It also means that if you want to enjoy the lagoon instead for skiing or swimming, that is an option. Third, although Resort Mundo Imperial is in the Diamante district, just a few minutes from the airport, it is not isolated. Across the street from the hotel is a large supermarket called Selecto which offers everything from produce to seafood to cereal to beer to tequila to flat screens to swimsuits to Viagra to diapers to My Little Ponies to shampoo to cakes to free weights to car batteries to pillow cases to flatware. (Can you tell Nathan actually shops there?) If there is something you need to make your stay more comfortable, it's literally across the street. Further, just past the Selecto is La Isla Shopping Village, an outdoor mall with around 30 restaurants and clubs, offering a wide variety of dining options to augment the excellent options available at the Resort itself. La Isla also features a casino, movie theatre, pirate adventure boat rides, and even two different locations for Haagen Dazs ice cream. Lastly, if you are attending on a budget, that's okay too. There are nearby locations for inexpensive Mexican cuisine, easy transportation via collectivos, and many options for cheap lodging in the vicinity. We recommend joining the Anarchapulco Facebook page to explore those options. Hopefully you have no further questions about the venue, but if so, send them [email protected] We can't wait to see you there!
